Presently, I find immense satisfaction as a Type Rating Instructor (TRI) and Type Rating Examiner (TRE) on the Boeing 737, coaching colleagues as they advance in their careers. During my tenure as a Fokker 50 pilot, I also took on the role of a flight safety officer, assessing Air Safety Reports (ASRs) and leading investigations into flight safety incidents. Now, at Dutch Aviation Trainers and DATOS, I leverage this extensive experience in my dual role as a flight safety and compliance monitoring manager. In this capacity, I continually evaluate our training against EASA standards and explore avenues for further enhancement.
